From Tom Sutton: "It's been a while since I've written, and this time, I come with some news of changes. I'm sorry to tell everyone that my time with CHURCH OF MISERY will soon be coming to an end. Ever since a tour we did in Europe in 2008, I've had an incredibly strong intuition that I would be moving somewhere in Europe in the near future, and that time has now arrived. It was during that tour that I realised how much I missed the western world. I've been in Japan for 10 years now, and as the song says, 'my spirit is crying for leaving'.
So, this coming European/UK tour will be my last with the band, and from May I'll be living in London. Playing with Church has been absolutely one of the greatest thrills of my entire life, so I want to thank them so much for the opportunity they gave me, and I really want to thank you guys for coming to gigs and being so cool to us everywhere we go. It's been amazing. So, see you on tour. It'll be sweaty as always! Blessings!"
