New POOBAH Reissue, Special MOS GENERATOR Package And More From Ripple Music

2012 ends with us releasing a couple of amazing albums that folks really seem to be digging. First up is 'Nomads', the first new album in 5 years from retro-heavy, classic rock legends Mos Generator. Already, this album is getting several "album of the year" nods, and it really does deserve it. Classic heavy songwriting, full of melody, and laced with Tony Reed's stellar guitar work. After working on new albums by Saint Vitus and Blood of the Sun, Tony unleashed his passion on this album. Available on Vinyl and CD, we sold out of the extremely limited edition two-tone vinyl in only 2 hours, but we still have some Release Day Specials, black vinyl with a signed Mos Generator poster available. Find them in the Ripple Store.

And speaking of Tony Reed. If you're a fan of his production/studio wizardry, then you gotta check out his latest project, C.F. A. Composed of three of the funniest guys we've ever met, C.F. A. blast out a knock-em-dead mix of heavy stoner rock and hardcore that is so impressive, it's been dubbed Stoner-core. Heavy, riffy, punky, it's all there and all run through the filter of Tony Reed's HeavyHead studio.

Final bits of 2012 news; Fen's new album 'Of Losing Interest' is gathering huge raves from the press and some songs were just included in a new first-person shooter video game, Deadgrind, while Iron Claw continue to grow their expansive audience with some songs picked up for new snowboarding and a skateboarding movies. You can find their Ripple releases in the Store.

Ok, now onto 2013, which will see new releases from the latest Ripple bands, Mothership and Devil to Pay, and two other recent signings that we haven't announced yet. But we're totally psyched!

Also, 2013 will see two killer reissues. First up is 'U.S. Rock' from Poobah. This album hasn't been re-released since it's original date in 1976 and is another one of the lost, holy grail albums from one of America's premiere original heavy-psych legends. Our reissue of 'Let Me In' has already gone through 4 pressings and we expect the demand for this will be the same. There will be a special, limited edition colored vinyl release of U.S. Rock, so stay tuned for details.

2013 will also see the long-awaited re-release of the original two JPT Scare Band albums on vinyl. Yes, we'll be packaging 'Acid Acetate Excursion' and 'Rape of the Titan's Siren' together and sending them your way in a gorgeous double-LP edition with gatefold cover that incorporates the original album art with some new imagery. These albums haven't been available on vinyl since their inception decades ago. Release will be limited, so don't miss out!

We've received word from Trucker Diablo that the Irish quartet are hard at work in the studio for their follow up to the massively popular 'The Devil Rhythm' album. Tentatively titled 'Songs of Iron', the band is aiming to have the album ready for a late 2013 release. And not to be outdone, Plymouth-based grit-rockers, Grifter, are plugging away at new tracks for the follow up to their critically-acclaimed self-titled album. The trio is early on in the process, but have promised a heart stopping rock n' roll ride with this outing!

That's all for now. Thanks again for giving us your time today and as always, for all of your support over the years. We couldn't do what we're doing without you.

Cheers,

Todd and John
