In other CIRCULUS related news, the band have just shot a promo for "My Body Is Made Of Sunlight". This will be released as a double A Sided single with "Swallow" on October 24th. It is released as a limited 7" in two colours (bright green & yellow) and as a 3 Track CD EP, featuring La Rotta which was only previously available on the vinyl version of the highly acclaimed debut album, "The Lick On The Tip Of An Envelope Yet To Be Sent". The Band will be embarking on a nationwide UK tour in November. Check the tour-section for dates. "Swallow/My Body Is Made of Sunlight" (RISE657"/MCD) is released in the UK on Oct 24 2005.

We are very excited to announce the signing of Welsh Post Hardcore/melodic Sludge Monsters, TAINT. The debut album; "The Ruin Of Nova Roma" was mixed in Los Angeles by Alex Newport (Fudge Tunnel, At The Drive In, The Mars Volta, Melvins, The Icarus Line etc). "The Ruin Of Nova Roma" is album of the month in the forthcoming issue of Rocksound Magazine, UK. To coincide with it's release, the band embark on a UK tour with Relapse Recording Artists, BURST. "The Ruin Of Nova Roma’"(RISE66CD) is released in the UK on Oct 24 2005.

Thee monolithic cavemen of instru-prog metal have completed work on their debut full-length album, "Ruder Forms Survive". Recorded in a former GDR radio broadcast centre in Berlin, "Ruder Forms Survive" sees CAPRICORNS up the sonic ante whilst still maintaining a deep love for the purity and tradition of The Riff. It's an unfathomable Armageddonesque combination of Amebix punk attitude crossed with a doomed out, Ummagumma era Pink Floyd, propelled by deepest swing this side of John Bonham. Trendy specky instro-nerds bail out of town – now! The band embark on a headlining UK tour with Southern power crust exponents BARONESS. + sHEAVY's NEW ALBUM!
sHEAVY's long awaited fantastic new album, "Republica", finally hits the stores this month. Filled with infectious riffs and mind trapping melodies, "Republica" is this Canadian quartets catchiest album to date. The closest to Ozzy Era Black Sabbath you will ever hear? We haven’t heard anyone else come closer! "Republica" (RISECD58) is released in the UK on Oct 17th.
+ RISE ABOVE RELICS UPDATE!
We are still working on getting this sub label of Rise Above Records up & running. We are currently researching our first two planned releases, which we are hoping to have out early in the new year. The first of these two is going to be an official reissue from early 70's UK based underground hard psych/rock band LUV MACHINE. Their one and only album (originally released on Polydor) is now highly collectable & classic. We have gained access to the original masters, including several previously unheard tracks. We have also had contact with original band members, so plan to make this a nice package.
The second release is an almost mythical previously unreleased album. Again from early 70's underground hard rock scene. The other band is called POSSESSED, who were from the Midlands of England. They recorded an albums worth of material in 73, which never saw the light of day. The legacy of the band is shrouded in tragedy, due to the untimely death of most of it's band members in a fatal road accident some time after it was recorded.
We are working from original masters and have contact with a surviving member, who we will work closely with when getting sleeve notes together, etc.Following the release of these two gems, we will be turning our attention to some underground classic Doom.
