CANDLEMASS (From the 13th Sun) CD
After the more experimental "Dactyls Glomerata" album CANDLEMASS returns in 1999 with this new record and Leif Edling has found new strong members to create "From the 13th Sun". And what can I say? It's a fantastic record (or return) with some new influences. I think nowadays CANDLEMASS are more psychedelic than in former days and less epic.
But here's a very strong SABBATH/70's influence and I hope the band will continue this musial path. It's great that one of the old bands is still around and I hope that CANDLEMASS will release more albums with this line-up. Everybody who digs in heavy doomy music should call "From the 13th Sun" his own.
