South Carolina's THROTTLEROD deliver agressive Heavyrock with a small SABBATH-inspiration says the label info-flyer and I can agree with it. Beside the SABBATH influence I would also mention bands like LYNYRD SKYNYRD and HELMET. "Eastbound And Down" contains thirteen tracks and I personal prefer slower and doomy songs like "Alone on the Moon". Most of the tracks are more in a heavy and fast Rock´n´Roll style and the rough vocals from singer and guitarist Matt Whitehead underlines the dirty beer-drenched rock of THROTTLEROD. If you like bands like SIXTY WATT SHAMAN or ALABAMA THUNDER PUSSY than you´ll like this album. The label is UNDERDOGMA and visit the THROTTLEROD website.
